Estoy alucinado con esta herramienta. A bote pronto una búsqueda de Led Zeppelin devuelve 142 canciones. No está nada mal.

Se ruega usar con prudencia ya que se rumorea que a más de uno le pitan los oídos cada vez que un usuario reproduce una canción.

Me pregunto dónde tendrán el servidor…

The ESP game - Etiquetando colaborativamente todas las imágenes de la web

A través del blog de Jesús Encinar he llegado a una interesantísima iniciativa de la Carnegie Mellon University: The ESP game, una iniciativa para etiquetar colaborativamente todas las imágenes de la web mediante un juego.

Se basa en la siguiente idea: sólo en jugar al solitario los humanos empleamos más de 9.000 millones de horas/hombre al año. Construir el Empire State consumió 7 millones de horas/hombre, el Canal de Panamá 20 millones.

Labeling an image means associating word descriptions to it, as shown below. Computer programs can’t yet determine the contents of arbitrary images, but the ESP game provides a novel method of labeling them: players get to have fun as they help us determine their contents. If the ESP game is played as much as other popular online games, we estimate that all the images on the Web can be labeled in a matter of weeks!
